Randy Almond
Family Services Specialist

Randy feels blessed every time he meets with a family. He is happy that he is able to make a difference during such a hard time. He wants to make the same difference to families that the gentleman that helped him when his own father passed away made to him.

Jim Ater
Funeral Assistant

Jim was in management and education for forty years and was looking for employment that would also be a ministry opportunity. He has enjoyed being able to work with families with an attitude of compassion and service. He also enjoys coaching and watching grandchildren in their activities, playing golf, and is actively involved in church activities. He enjoys traveling with his wife and just celebrated their 44th anniversary.

Chris Bailey
Pre-planning Specialist

Chris finds the funeral industry very rewarding. He has been at Laurel Land for over two years. Outside of work, Chris is an avid golfer and enjoys fishing. His greatest enjoyment in spending time with his wife and daughter and watching his daughter play basketball.

Jenny Barnett
General Manager

Jenny is a licensed funeral arranger and embalmer for twelve years, helping to provide comfort to families and celebrate the life that was lived. She graduated from Midwestern State University and Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out and watching sports-Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.

Warren Bradford
Licensed Embalmer and Funeral Arranger

Warren has been in the funeral industry for 38 years and licensed 24 years. He graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He enjoys serving people, giving comfort and consolation. He is a pulpit minister at Cathedral of Faith Church in Dallas and is on the Board of Directors for Fathers for Equal Rights Dallas and Tarrant County. He enjoys reading, cooking, relaxing, listening to jazz and blues, and his dog “Shugga”.

Shawn Brower
Director of Community and Family Services

Shawn has over three years experience leading counselors who take care of our families. Shawn says, “I knew I was doing what I was called to do when a mother, who lost her daughter, gave me a hug and thanked me for helping her get through those terrible first few days.”

Jeff Burtis
Family Service Specialist

Jeff says the funeral industry is his calling where he has a great desire to serve his fellow families during their worst time. He has been in the funeral industry for over four years. He enjoys spending quality time with his son and is a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan.

Gerald Dawson
Licensed Embalmer

Gerald is a licensed embalmer and funeral arranger and has been in the funeral industry for ten years, graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He enjoys the funeral industry because he is able to help families in their greatest time of need. Gerald enjoys collecting hot wheels and bike riding.

Bobby Debenport
Licensed Funeral Arranger

Bobby is a licensed funeral arranger. He has been in the funeral industry for nine years and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. Bobby enjoys the funeral industry because it allows him to help people in ways that most people can’t or won’t, at a time when they need it the most. Bobby enjoys working in his yard and four-wheeling.

Gary Decker
Manager of Community and Family Services

Gary has over five years experience serving families in their time of need. “The best word I can use to describe what I do is ‘rewarding’. I love helping others when they need it the most.”

David Drake
Funeral Assistant

I like being able to help families during a very difficult time in their lives. I hope I am able to make something stressful a little easier for them to handle. Outside of work, I enjoy woodworking. I am an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and especially enjoy going to the new stadium to watch a game. I also enjoy golf and fishing with my daughter.

Gabriel Fennell
Licensed Funeral Arranger and Embalmer

I enjoy working in the funeral industry by having the chance to serve and help others in times of need….to learn and gain knowledge about the funeral service industry in order to make myself the best that I can be in order to serve each family that I encounter. Outside of work I enjoy boxing, reading, and spending time with my family.

Amy Fulp
Licensed Embalmer

Amy is a licensed embalmer and funeral arranger. She has been in the funeral industry for 17 years and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She enjoys the funeral industry by being able to help people. Amy enjoys spending time camping and boating with her family and loves race cars.

Eddie Hood
Licensed Funeral Arranger and Embalmer

Eddie began his career with Laurel Land of Dallas in 1978, graduating from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1979. He has been at Laurel Land Fort Worth since 1996. Working in the funeral industry for over 30 years has given him the opportunity to assist families in providing memorials for their loved ones. Eddie enjoys fishing, golf, and has four horses, and enjoys horseback riding and spending time with his family.

Beverly Jackson
Administrative Assistant

My position allows me to hopefully provide the family with a little comfort during this time of need. I strive to help the families honor their loved one’s memory with a memorial book of their choosing and in some small way offer some comfort to the family. Outside work, I enjoy spending time and playing with my ten grandchildren. I love experiencing life again through their young eyes.

Working in the memorial department is a challenging position but it is rewarding helping families design and order their final memorialization.

Reggie Murray
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Reggie has been in the funeral industry for four years, graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He enjoys the funeral service industry because it affords him the opportunity to help people through one of the more difficult things in life to deal with. Reggie is involved with his church and volunteers with the deaf community. He enjoys music-piano, trumpet and the tuba.

Glenda has been employed at Laurel Land Fort Worth as both part-time and full-time for over 15 years. Her hobbies include sewing, decorating, and reading.

Angela Torres
Licensed Funeral Arranger

Angela has been in the funeral industry since 2007. As a funeral arranger, Angela serves families during a difficult period of time. She continually strives to exhibit compassion and genuine care and comfort through the process of providing a memorial for their loved ones. She graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and enjoys spending time with her family, bike riding and is an avid Mavericks fan.

Tammy Trevino
Pre-planning specialist

Tammy loves helping families at the most difficult time of their lives. She has been in the funeral industry for thirteen years and would not want to work in any other industry because of the feeling she receives by helping her families. Tammy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Serving families at Laurel Land is definitely a calling and making one of the hardest days a little easier is a reward for Richard.

Kitt Wood
Licensed Funeral Arranger

Kitt is a licensed funeral arranger, graduating from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She loves being able to help families in their most sorrowful time and to make their loved one look their best for their final goodbye. She enjoys watching football (Trinity High School, Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys), and camping.
